How do you create Cannelini Bean Pate?
Well if you use dry beans-Soak in water overnight then rinse , rinse , rinse the following day and cook in lightly salted water (or in vegan veg stock) until semi soft.Press between finger and if they mash easily they are done.
Ready for blending steps....
Canned? Thats fine just rinse WELL and cook to simmer for 20 minutes and rinse again.
Finally
Place Beans in blender with a little fresh chopped Garlic and some dried Italian herbs,blend/ pulse softly to chunky-
Add White Pepper and Salt, and a little Lemon Juice to taste.
IF you add fresh Herbs chop nicely and stir in post blending.
This can be used in Lasagna, a base for a blended soup, on sandwiches or crackers
Impress some dinner guests and serve on baguette
slices brushed with olive oil and toasted.Spoon pate on

Why is rinsing beans so important?
Well because they will give you digestive issues.
Put plainly 'Gas'. Here at Veganopolis we take steps and time to rinse and cook our beans well. We only buy Tofu from a company that washes its soybeans rigorously prior to processing. It is key and many-even organic brands don't follow this.
Don't be afraid of Tofu because of this issue. Just find the proper brands. We use Dae Han Tofu -a local company.
